Rechtzeitig zu Weihnachten wurden ca. 1300 Exemplare
des Heimatblattes in 10 Länder verschickt.
Davon gingen 66 Exemplare an Institutionen und
Bibliotheken, sowie an einige HOGs in Deutschland.
Vielen herzlichen Dank an alle Mitwirkende
und Helfer.

Die
Tradition lebt weiter!
Wir wollen diese fast 170 – jährige Blasmusiktradition
aus Billed - im Banat - fortführen und haben nach unserer
erfolgreichen 1. CD eine neue Einspielung mit speziell
ausgesuchten Musikstücken produziert.
Warum
eine 2. CD ?
Viele Blasmusik-Fans, die unsere 1. CD kennen,
meinten, da fehlen doch noch einige Stücke wie: Vulturi,
Mojova, Halltaler... Diese Leute und die Qualität der
1. CD, die übrigens im SWR4 (Radio) vorgestellt
wurde, animierten uns, diese neue CD zu produzieren.
Es freut uns sehr, dass wir, wie schon bei unserer ersten
Produktion “Heimatklänge“ wieder große Unterstützung
von der Heimatgemeinschaft Billed e.V., erfahren haben.

Auf
dieser CD haben wir wieder einige typische Donauschwäbische
Stücke, die in Billed gespielt wurden verewigen können,
um sie als solche der Nachwelt zu erhalten. Unser Dank
geht an alle unsere Förderer und Fans.
Wir hoffen, dass auch die Trachtentanzgruppe
an dem einem oder anderem Stück Gefallen findet und
dazu tanzt. Euer

Greetings
from the home country - with brass music
and homebells
The tradition persists !
We want to continue this nearly 170 years old Billed
Banatian brass custom. In addition to the very successful
1st CD we have just finished the next record of extra
selected compositions.
Why
now a second CD ?
Well, many of our brass music fans who knew the
former recording were missing pieces of music like:
Vulturi, Mojova, Halltaler... Those people, as well
as the response we got back on the 1st CD - which was
presented even via the broadcast station SWR4
- encouraged us to produce a second one. We are very
happy facing such a great support from the Billed community,
as we already did with the first production of “Heimatklänge”.
On this CD again we have eternalized some typical Donauschwabian
pieces which were played in Billed, to preserve them
for posterity. Our grateful thanks to all our
benefactors and fans. We are hopeful our
traditional dancing chorus will enjoy some of
the pieces of music as well and will eagerly dance on
them.

Billed–Alexanderhausen

14 Jahre sind bereits vergangen seit der “Wiederbelebung“der
Billeder Blechmusik in Deutschland.
Es sind noch Musikanten von der Nachbargemeinde Alexanderhausen
dazugekommen und so entstand dann nach und nach die
Trachtenblasmusikkapelle Billed–Alexanderhausen.
Da wir jetzt schon etliche Veranstaltungen für unsere
Landsmannschaft musikalisch umrahmt und zum Tanz aufgespielt
haben, wuchs das Interesse uns auf einer CD zu verewigen.
Dank der vollen Unterstützung unserer Ortsgemeinschaft
haben wir dieses Projekt durchführen können. Dieser
Weg ins Studio war lange und verbunden mit vielen
Bedenken. Wir haben es geschafft und stellen jetzt
das Ergebnis vor.

years ago the Brass Band of Billed was relaunched
in Germany by today's bandmasters Adam Tobias and
Jakob Groß. As some musicians from Alexanderhausen,
a neighbouring place of Billed joined them, the Trachtenblasmusikkapelle
Billed-Alexanderhausen arose this way step by step
and expanded to 30 people. To this day they have played
the music to many events, they have accompanied the
meetings or "Kirchweihfest's" of our community and
have played at proms. Therefore by general request
the interest was to release a sound carrier with the
most popular pieces of music.
Thanks to the encouragement of Prof. Anton Hollich
and the full support of the Billed-community the band
has been able to manage this huge project. And here

to listen to the audio-samples. You'll find all the
wonderful music polka, waltz, marches and ländlers,
our ancestors brought along from their Banat homeland
and used to listen to all the time. If you enjoy it,
please don't hesitate to support this awesome tradition

it could as well mean the most enjoyable christmas-gift
for your relatives.
